Princess Protection Program DVD Review

Finally, another Disney movie geared for tween girls that doesn't include Hannah Montana or the Cheetah Girls!

Princess Protection Program stars Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato who are also quite popular right now, but have never paired up before. The premise of this movie is that Carter, a tomboy, must learn how to adapt to being around a true princess. Rosalina is a princess in a war torn country and Carter's dad is the secret agent who has been ordered to protect her. Carter learns how to be more girlie and Rosalina learns how to act more like a normal girl.

For the audience it's geared towards, this movie is cute and fun! There are lessons learned, it's good clean fun and has many aspects that girls of that age can relate to.

Family Time Factor: Not really something for the whole family. Girls 6 to maybe 14 might enjoy it, but not something boys would probably be interested in and maybe best for a gift and not a family movie night.

MOTR Grade: B

Disney's Princess Protection Program is available June 30 on DVD!!!
