Kiss Nail Dress Review

My hand after application.
In my 2012 Love VoxBox I received from Influenster, one of the products was Kiss Nail Dress from Kiss Products.  I am one of those people who doesn't paint their nails much.  I like when they are long because I think they look pretty, but I don't like the hassle involved of having my nail polish get chipped after one day.  And I refuse to use nail polish removed because it dries and damages my nails.

That leaves me the option of fake nails.  I've never had success with fake nails.  They don't fit right and come off too easily or make every day tasks difficult.  So, I was pretty excited to try this product!  It's an adhesive that sticks directly to your nail (you can use them on fake nails too.)  What I'm most impressed with so far is that I applied them last night in bed and they are still there.  They didn't rub off in my sleep, through many hand-washing, doing the dishes or any other daily tasks I partake in.  By now if it were fingernail polish, it would be chipped and wearing off.  So, that's the best part!  I also really like the idea because it's a way to put a lot of detail on your nail without paying $100 to get them done professionally.

My only complaints are that they are time consuming to apply and the current pattern choices are too gaudy for my taste.  I received the KDS14 design to review and although I'm fine with having something out there on my toes, I don't feel like it suits me to have on my nails.  Out of all their current designs, the only one I'd probably pay for is KDS18.  And I HATE animal prints, so that eliminates half the choices for me.

Kiss Nail Dress
Fashion That Sticks
Introducing Kiss Nail Dress, ultimate nail fashion for tips and toes! Just peel, apply, and shape for a manicure that lasts up to 10 days. On in minutes, off in seconds without remover. Nail Dress is available in 18 different styles, many of them featuring 3-dimensional jeweled designs. Check out Peplum, a deep black with multi-colored gems for a pop of color, or Babydoll, for a golden and glamorous jeweled look. Skip the topcoat, Nail Dress has it built in.

With 28 strips in each package, you can cut up your extras to create designs that can be used on top of polished or artificial nails. Nail Dress doesn’t dry out the way other polish strips can, so you can save them to use on your next DIY mani. A nail design booklet is included in each package, just in case you need a little inspiration.

And don’t forget about your feet! Nail Dress looks awesome on toes, too – just use the square side of the sticker for a perfect fit.

Where to Buy
Nail Dress’ suggested retail is $6.99 and is available in all major drug chains and mass retailers like WalMart, CVS and Walgreens.

If I could make a suggestion if you do spend your money on them (which if you like the patterns is definitely worth it) is that you don't follow their application instructions of filing the excess off the tip of your nail.  It doesn't work.  I used fingernail clippers and easily trimmed off the excess.  That way you can get right up along your current nail line.
